Luigi Negri (1837-1891) - Two Studies for Contrabass.
Contains Gran Studio no. 1 and Studio no. 24, both from a compilation of studies published about 1862. These two studies are newly edited and transposed (2021) to modern readable clefs and octave by Patrick Neher. Luigi Negri was not as famous as Giovanni Bottesini, but many feel Negri's pedagogy and compositions are more accessible for today's bassists.
